Investing in a post-crisis world

Last year we said the heat was on - little did we know how hot things were going to get. The bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers was the catalyst which crystallised global policy makers to focus on the depth and severity of the credit crisis. Since then almost no asset class has been immune from the carnage.

As we respond to the current challenges and contemplate the future outlook for superannuation, words of the American writer and philosopher, Napoleon Hill, come to mind: "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit."

At ASI 2009 we will plant some seeds and give you food for thought.
