Investment & Technology’s successful Absolute Returns Funds Conference was back for the second time on September 16.

Specifically aimed at superannuation funds and asset consultants, the conference analysed a range of the latest investment strategies, research and implementation.

Absolute Returns Funds 2008 focused on the investment strategies which aim to provide uncorrelated benchmark-unaware returns for institutional investors and the issues around their implementation and administration.

Drawing from international and Australian experience, the conference considered both listed and unlisted funds and strategies, in the context of asset allocation, analysing risk and return, and the assessment of the funds’ rating agencies and liquidity.
